Grid Coupling

Description

Our company is the best in the industry for delivering a variety of grid couplings such as barrel-shaped, concave, hourglass, etc. All of our grid couplings can be available at the best of the industry prices, hence they can be easily afforded by both small and medium-sized business owners. In an order to buy the grid couplings from our brand, there is no minimum quantity requirement. It depends on customers' preferences. We usually take around 10 business days to deliver our product. The materials which we use to manufacture our grid couplings are carbon steel and hold the fatigue test of flat style.

Product Details:

Product Name Grid Coupling
Brand ASE
Sizes In addition to the shaft bore diameter, grid couplings are also available in a variety of other sizes, including
The overall length of a grid coupling is the distance between the faces of the flanges.
The thickness of a grid coupling is the distance between the faces of the spider arms.
The weight of a grid coupling will vary depending on the size and material of the coupling.
Color Natural/Coated
Thickness  from 1/4 inch to 1 inch, with thicker couplings available for high-torque applications
Length range from 2 inches to 24 inches, with longer couplings available for high-torque applications
Product Hardness The product hardness of a grid coupling is typically measured in Brinell hardness (HB). The Brinell hardness of a material is a measure of its resistance to indentation. The higher the Brinell hardness, the more resistant the material is to indentation.
Will vary depending on the material of the coupling. A steel grid coupling will typically have a Brinell hardness of 250-350 HB,
Minimum Order Quantity As per the buyer's requirement

Ram Material types

Austenitic: A type of stainless steel that is characterized by its face-centered cubic crystal structure. Austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic and have good corrosion resistance.

Martensitic: A type of stainless steel that is characterized by its body-centered cubic crystal structure. Martensitic stainless steels are magnetic and have good strength and hardness.

Ferritic: A type of stainless steel that is characterized by its body-centered cubic crystal structure. Ferritic stainless steels are non-magnetic and have good corrosion resistance.

Duplex: A type of stainless steel that has austenitic and ferritic phases. Duplex stainless steels have good strength, corrosion resistance, and toughness.

Precipitation-hardening: A type of stainless steel that is strengthened by the precipitation of a second phase, such as carbides or nitrides. Precipitation-hardening stainless steels have high strength and good corrosion resistance.

Grid couplings are used in a variety of applications, including:

Pumps: Are often used in pumps because they can accommodate misalignment between the shafts of the pump and the motor. This is important in pumps because the shafts are often not perfectly aligned due to thermal expansion and contraction.

Fans: used in fans for the same reason as pumps.

Compressors: Also used in compressors for the same reason as pumps and fans.

Gearboxes:  In gearboxes can accommodate misalignment between the input and output shafts of the gearbox. This is important in gearboxes because the shafts are often not perfectly aligned due to manufacturing tolerances.

Wind turbines: Grid couplings are also used in wind turbines because they can accommodate misalignment between the shaft of the turbine and the generator. This is important in wind turbines because the shafts are often not perfectly aligned due to the wind.

Surface Finishing:

Machined: This is the most common surface finish. It is achieved by machining the surface of the coupling to a smooth finish. This finish provides a good base for other surface finishes, such as black oxide or powder coating.

Black oxide: This finish is applied to the surface of the coupling by electrochemical oxidation. It provides a black, corrosion-resistant finish.

Powder coating: This finish is applied to the surface of the coupling by spraying a powder coating onto the surface. It provides a durable, corrosion-resistant finish that is available in a variety of colors.
